Social Media Coördinator
HQ/ Marketing
The Social Media Coordinator reports to the Social Media Lead and is part of the Marketing team.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for managing the social calendar focusing on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and setting up our Employer Branding channel(s). He/she manages the day-to-day contact with our social agency and briefs/manages our campaigns. He/she makes sure we continuously test and improve our social content formats. He/she will ensure the social media content is aligned with our brand and marketing strategies and will work closely with various teams to deliver engaging and effective social media campaigns. The purpose of the job is to grow our strong online presence and to foster interaction and engagement with our (potential) audience.



AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
  • Coordinating the management of Action’s social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Collaborating with our social media agency to create and schedule content
  • Ensuring all content aligns with Action’s brand guidelines and marketing strategies
  • Monitoring social media channels daily and engaging with our audience to foster a strong online community
  • Helping to manage setting up experiments to test new content formats in collaboration with our social agency
  • Partnering closely with internal stakeholders to align social media activities with broader marketing campaigns
  • Identifying trends and opportunities in social media to enhance our content strategy
  • Leveraging Action brand assets across social media to maximize engagement
  • Managing the social media content calendar and ensuring timely execution of all posts
  • Compiling data across all social media platforms and, together with the performance team, closely looking at the weekly/monthly reports, including analysis for insights and optimizations
  • Presenting insights to the team and making recommendations for improvement
  • Working closely with the social media, content, employer branding, and campaign teams
  • Setting up employer branding channels and rolling out the strategy
  • Developing content specifically for our employer branding channel to attract top talent together with our agency
  • Collaborating with Employer Branding to align the employer branding strategy with the overall company vision

Your Team
In this role you will work at the Marketing department. the marketing department consists of approximately 30 people, divided over different teams. You will work in a team of 4 people where you work directly with the Hiring Manager to whom you report.

REQUIREMENTS – HARD SKILLS
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator in an omni channel retail organization or at an agency
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a similar role.  
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the different social media channels
  • Creative thinking 
  • Data-driven and result driven
  • Minimal high school (HBO), WO intellectual capabilities
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines
